Cadet/2nd Lt. Charles West has been an active member of GA-153 since August 22nd of 2014. He has attended Encampment and received his Advanced Ground Team Certification through W.E.S.S (Wing Emergency Services School): https://wess.alwg.us/default.aspx. While active in the squadron, Cadet West achieved the rank of Eagle Scout through the Boy Scouts of America. West participated in a Civil Engineering Academy in Florida and most recently was present at a Cyber Defense Training Academy in San Antonio, TX. He would recommend that all cadets get the most out of what CAP has to offer and attend events not just within your local squadron, but nationally through the many NCSA’s (National Cadet Special Activities) that Civil Air Patrol has to offer.
